We have constructed an office building for the Swedish Kinnarps, one of the largest office furniture makers in Europe. The 7-storey-high office building on Váci út with a useful area of 13,000 m² has an underground car-park on three levels. On the ground-floor and first floor there are functional elements of the building, and apart from them the Hungarian division of the owner, the company of interior decoration, has offices, showrooms, conference rooms, a restaurant and kitchen and social rooms. The upper floors (2-7) have offices with corridors between them, connected to two staircases. Small reception rooms, coffee rooms, conference rooms and smoking rooms belong to them.
The basic functions in the "intelligent" building, including heating, air-conditioning, lights and the operation of shade panels, are controlled by a computerised system. We were asked to make the overall operation of the building in 2006, which commission also involves the underground garage for 150 cars next to the office building.
