KÉSZ Real Estate Ltd. has been selected to operate the recently renewed Reök Palace in Szeged, one of the most beautiful secessionist buildings of Europe. The palace - which was opened on 17 August 2007 - awaits the public with all sorts of exhibitions and several performances of drama, music and literature. In the future KÉSZ Real Estate Ltd. will be in charge of the overall operation of the palace, including caretaking activities, and maintenance and control for the electric and mechanic fixtures and appliances, together with the necessary activities of renewal and emergency repairs.
István Reök hydraulic engineer and MP ordered the construction of the palace on almost 1,200 square metres exactly 100 years ago, and the architect Ede Magyar - also considered the Hungarian Gaudy - made the designs. The palace of a family which has been in the heart of Szeged, in Lajos Tisza Boulevard for a century, is a real gem even on the European level. After its renewal it is resplendent in its former beauty, and now not only on the outside, but in the inside, as well. From now on the edifice also houses the Combined Regional Centre of Arts.
